Conversations

Currently, all of our workshops, screenings, Q&As, and classes are being offered virtually online as we follow health and safety guidelines due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Please check out our Program Calendar frequently as opportunities are added weekly. In-person functions have been suspended and all of our facilities are temporarily closed until further notice. Learn more about our remote programming on our FAQ page.

The Conversations program offers screenings followed by inspiring Q&A’s with leading actors and casts, as well as Career Retrospectives with preeminent actors who explore the process and profession with an audience of fellow artists. Conversations focus on personal experiences and artistic influences that inform and shape careers; discuss current and past projects; share valuable insights into the craft and industry; and preserve creative legacies.

The SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s remote Conversations at Home series is our re-envisioned, virtual production of our established in-person Conversations series. The Conversations at Home series will continue until the Foundation’s theaters and screening rooms can safely reopen.

Conversations at Home offers remote Q&As and career retrospectives with actors, directors and casts to discuss the craft of acting, their creative processes and award-nominated projects with our audience of SAG-AFTRA members. All Conversations at Home are moderated by seasoned arts and entertainment writers/journalists.
